DELIVERY AND RETURN POLICY (B2C)

1. GENERAL INFORMATION

These Delivery and Return Terms regulate the delivery and return processes of products offered to individual customers (consumers) via www.gurme.se by Synopsys AB (Org. No: 559164-3159). Every user who places an order via Gurme.se is deemed to have accepted these terms. Our processes are fully compliant with the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (Konsumentköplagen) and EU Distance Selling regulations.


2. DELIVERY CONDITIONS

2.1. Delivery Zones

Orders placed via Gurme.se are shipped by Synopsys AB. Our main service regions are:

  • Sweden: Delivery is available nationwide.
  • Denmark and Finland: Shipping is provided within designated logistics routes.

2.2. Cargo Companies and Shipping Method

Your orders are delivered to your door or the nearest delivery point via the following professional logistics companies, depending on your region and the service type selected:

Partners: DHL, DB Schenker, Airmee, Fraktjakt, Budbee, Postnord, Instabox.

  • Cold Chain (+4°C): Refrigerated products such as cheese and sujuk are shipped in special insulated packages or refrigerated vehicles.
  • Frozen Products (-18°C): Frozen product shipments are not yet available within the retail scope.

2.3. Delivery Time

  • In-Stock Products: Usually shipped within 2-3 business days from order confirmation.
  • Out-of-Stock Products: Estimated to be delivered to cargo within 5 business days depending on the procurement process.

2.4. Shipping Pricing (Based on Weight and Zone)

Gurme.se implements a tiered weight policy for fair pricing. Shipping costs are automatically calculated by the system as the total cart weight increases.

* Home delivery via AIRMEE is only possible in the following Swedish cities: Stockholm, Göteborg, Malmö, Lund, Linköping, Norrköping, Växjö, Uppsala, Västerås, Enköping, Jönköping, Borås, Örebro, Helsingborg, Karlstad, Eskilstuna, Halmstad, Nyköping, Trollhättan, Uddevalla, and Vänersborg.

2.5. Unclaimed Packages

For packages returned because the recipient was not at the address or did not pick up the package from the delivery point, logistics costs (round-trip and processing fees) will be charged to the customer. This amount is billed as 299 SEK for standard deliveries within Sweden and 599 SEK for home deliveries.


3. RETURN CONDITIONS AND RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

3.1. Right of Withdrawal (B2C)

In accordance with the Distance Contracts Act, consumers have the right of withdrawal within 14 days from the delivery of the product. However, there are significant exceptions to this right regarding food products:

  • Perishable Products: Fresh foods, cold chain products (+4°C), and frozen products cannot be returned due to the risk of rapid spoilage.
  • Hygiene and Sealed Products: Food products with opened packaging or broken seals cannot be returned due to health and hygiene reasons.

3.2. Damaged or Defective Products

If you notice that the package is damaged during delivery, it is recommended to have a report kept by the cargo officer. If any defect (spoilage, wrong product, etc.) is detected, notification must be made to [email protected] with photographic evidence within 48 hours of delivery due to food safety regulations.

3.3. Return Process

Products approved for return must be sent back to us with their original packaging intact. Refunds for approved returns will be made to your original payment method within 14 days after the product reaches our warehouse. Shipping costs for returns made under the right of withdrawal belong to the customer.
